Established in 1951, the Sodality Guild is the oldest organization in the parish of St. Jane Frances de Chantal, Bethesda, Maryland. In addition to fostering devotion to the Blessed Mother, the Sodality adopted as its misison: spiritual development, service to the church and community, social action and fundraising for special needs. The Sodality welcomes new members and invites all women of the parish to attend its functions. | ||||||

SODALITY PLANT SALE HUGE SUCCESS The most picturesque plant sale was held May 2-4. Maureen Thomas and a collection of volunteers, including the sage, Elin Hagga, encouraged buyers and gardeners of all ages and level of experience. The Junior Sodalists provided hours of assistance in watering plants and flowers and then carrying purchases to cars and vans. This plant sale is typically the largest fundraiser for Sodality, and we all owe a major thank you to Maureen and her crew. |
